The Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group, the SDSM asked interim Prime Minister Dimitriev to pass the resignations of officials from the opposition to Parliament.

“Ministers and Deputy Ministers from the opposition resigned from Government today and I want to ask Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev to urgently submit the resignations to Parliament. We also request an emergency session in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia, to take the resignations into consideration”, said Sugareski.

He said that in the meantime, a letter will arrive at Parliament stating that the laws which were discussed today, and were proposed by the opposition, will be withdrawn.

Tonight at 19:00 the leader of the SDSM was scheduled to hold a speech, however, after a few minutes it was postponed.

“We would like to announce that the speech by the SDSM leader Zoran Zaev’s at 19:00 today will be postponed. Furthermore, we will notify you when the President of the SDSM Zoran Zaev will address the public”, the statement said.
