Ivanov received Xhaferi’s letter, and will act according to the Constitution

The President of the country, Gjorge Ivanov received the letter from the Parliamentary services which newly elected Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi sent, informing the Head of State that the parliamentary majority has been constituted, confirmed Ivanov’s cabinet for “Radio Free Europe”.

“The Office of the President confirmed that the letter was received from the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia. The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Gjorge Ivanov, will act according to the Constitution and the standard practice”, stated the Office of the Head of the State.

The Parliamentary services earlier announced that the Parliament Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, today sent a letter informing President Gjorge Ivanov that a parliamentary majority has been formed and a Parliament Speaker has been elected in the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia.

“The Parliament Speaker of the Republic of Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, expects that President gjorge Ivanov, will act according to the Constitution”, noted the statement from the Parliamentary services.
