Wiretapped conversations about the closure of A1 TV: We have to cancel their licence and let them cry afterward

-

Two new “bombs” showed up on the Fenix A1 Youtube channel.

In the first wiretapped recording, there are conversations where allegedly the voices of the former Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska, the former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, and the former Prosecutor Ljupcho Shvrgovski can be heard. The second “bomb” allegedly features conversations between the former Director of the Public Revenue Office, Goran Trajkovski and TV Sitel’s former Editor in Chief, Dragan Pavlovik-Latas.

“To take away the merchandise, the transmitters is a stupid thing to, do as they will record that and will make a show. There has to be a liquidator who will legally fire them all. Their license will have to be taken away and let them cry afterward. With a bankruptcy procedure, everyone in Europe will understand. A bankruptcy has occurred to a firm that owes 9 million EUR,” said the voice that closely resembles the former TV Sitel’s Dragan Pavlovik’s.

The former UJP director, Goran Trajkovski, responds with “he will not tell Utrinski Vesnik, Voice of Europe, and Voice of America about the solutions, probably thinking of the questions that the mediums have sent to the Public Revenue Office regarding this case.

During the rule of VMRO-DPMNE, MOI started a case “Pajazhina” where the owner of A1 TV Velija Ramkovski, his children, close relatives, and collaborators were accused of money laundering, tax evasion, and misuse of office. Ramkovski was sentenced to 13 years in prison, but was released after 7 years. The total sentence for all of the accused was 109 years in prison. A1 TV, as the first privately owned broadcasting service in Macedonia and one of the most influential media, was closed with the help of the police in 2011.
