Former Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska taken to Idrizovo penitentiary to serve her prison sentence

The former Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska was taken to Idrizovo penitentiary where she will serve the four-year prison sentence for the “Tank” case about the purchase of the luxury Mercedes automobile for the former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

“The person with the G.J. initials was taken to Idrizovo penitentiary” confirmed MOI briefly.

In the Tank case, that was opened by the former Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO), the charges were pressed about an illegal tender for the purchase of a luxurious Mercedes vehicle worth 600.000 EUR. The Mercedes was intended for the former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, who was also sentenced in this case to two years imprisonment.

Apart from Gruveski and Jankuloska, another one who was convicted in this case is the former Assistant Minister of Interior, Gjoko Popovski who is already serving his prison sentence.
