Center for Freedom follows the latest developments related to criminal charges and arrests within the police, political and media operation “Puch” conducted by the Prime Minister and the police with surprise and resentment.
“This is one more of a series of actions in which the Government, to put it mildly, uses its power under extremely dubious excuses. Such are the excuses of the Prime Minister, who accused and also passed judgments to the opposition members for coup and cooperation with foreign secret services. Along with the media drones and apologists of the Government, fear and insecurity is instigated, and the country is pushed into even more dramatic political and even security crisis. The number of political prisoners in Macedonia is continuously increasing. The rule of law and democracy are suspended. We ask the opposition SDSM to immediately publish all data on corruption and other practices of the Government that claims to possess, and thus put an end to the suspense that lasts for months. We ask the Government to immediately stop the police-media campaign against those who think differently,” reads statement of Civil.
