National Liberation Army (NLA) today again sent a communique, in which it takes responsibility for, as stated in the letter, the “bomb attacks” of police stations in Tetovo and Kumanovo, reported television Alsat-M.
In the communique sent via e-mail, apart from the attacks on police stations in these two cities, attacks on police stations in Skopje and Gostivar are also listed, for which there is no information in the country.
“On the evening of 9th of December, at 8 pm, coordinated attacks by units of NLA on police station near Bit Pazar, Tetovo, Gostivar and Kumanovo were conducted,” reads the letter.
The communique signed by certain “Commander Kushtrim” contained a political statement, which warns that the country is facing a new war and urges the international community to intervene in order to avoid escalation of the situation.
“Albanians have their opinion for the name, flag and national symbols and the process should be carried out with caution. All convicted in bogus trials to be released, and the responsible for these trials to be punished. We urge all political pseudo patriotic speakers, who show their strength only online by exposing hopeless political claims, not to be used by and don’t serve the chauvinist authorities in Macedonia,” read the communique of NLA, reports Alsat-M.
Representatives of MOI stated for META that it is not the first time to receive such a statement and that the Ministry has directed the investigation to reveal those responsible for the cases in Tetovo and Kumanovo.
– MOI doesn’t want to comment such statements and it is seriously investigating to solve the case with causing general danger in Tetovo and Kumanovo. We are still working on establishing the identity of the persons responsible for the case and on their arrest – said MOI spokesman Ivo Kotevski.
