Municipality of Shtip today officially announced the decision the medal “St. Nicholas” to be awarded to the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.
The medal will be presented to Gruevski at a formal session, which will be held on Friday on occasion of the patron holiday of the city.
Since the introduction of St. Nicholas as the patron holiday of the city a few years ago, the medal bearing the name of the saint is awarded to outstanding individuals who have contributed to the development of the city and the municipality.
Last year, the medal was awarded to neurologist Metodi Chepreganov, and previously it was received by Head of MOC-OA, g.g. Stefan, cardiologist Sashko Kedev and Metropolitan of Bregalnica Eparchy, g. Ilarion.
