New modular hospital setup next to the Clinic for Infectuous diseases

-

Health Minister Venko Filipche together with the Swiss Ambassador Sybille Suter Tejada, the Minister of Local Self-Government Goran Milevski, visited today the modular hospital that was set up next to the Clinic for Infectuous Diseases. The modules were procured and set up with the financial support from the Swiss Embassy, thus doubling the capacities of the Clinic for Infectuous Diseases, informed the Health Ministry.

– The modular hospital next to the Clinic for Infectuous Diseases was set within the parameters of measures taken against the coronavirus. It was set up in a record time of 2 weeks. It will be used as a Covid center and in the future as Clinic’s emergency center, where patients will undergo a triage, which will then be allocated further depending on the protocols and their health condition – said Minister Filipche.

It’s a facility of more that 1000 square meters where rooms for ambulances and triage are located including other rooms that are functionally organized according to specific protocols and paths for the personnel and the patients.

– We are monitoring all developments in the country, and we gladly accepted to help the Ministry of Health to equip the modular hospital with montage modules that in cooperation with the Ministry of Self-Governance, were secured through the project “Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development” – said Sybille Suter, the Swiss Ambassador.
