134 unemployed persons to be employed, the budget for them is 11 million denars

Minister of Labor and Social Policy Dime Spasov today announced the measure subsidized employment of people at social risk, as well as assistance for the private sector with direct subsidies to create jobs for these categories.

Through subsidized employment of persons with social risk will include recipients of social assistance, victims of domestic violence, persons who had the status of children without parents and parental care until 18 years.

– The measure also includes people who have low incomes or people who previously used the conditional cash compensation for regular education, coming from families who in the past have been recipients of social assistance, people with low income or income below 50 percent the average salary in Macedonia per family member, as well as young people up to 29 years old whose families also have low incomes – Spasov said during his visit to dispersed office of the Employment Centre – Skopje in the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov.

Subsidies are divided into two main groups. The first group will subsidize gross salary for recruitment at social risk with a total maximum amount per month from 22,000 denars, of which 17,000 denars for gross wages of the employee and 5,000 denars compensation for the costs of training for the employer month, period of six months, with the obligation for companies to retain these people to work for additional 12 months.

The second group includes maximum subsidy of 11,900 denars per month for a period of six months, with the five-year exemption from paying social security contributions under the project “Macedonia employs.”

This measure, which is part of the operational plan for 2015, for which a separate budget through World Bank is secured, will employ 134 unemployed persons, for which, funds totaling 11 million euros are secured.
