The ruling party VMRO-DPMNE denied the claim of DPA leader Menduh Thaci that there were discussions about the name issue during the leadership meetings.
“Regarding today’s announcement by DPA president Menduh Thaci, we would like to announce that at the talks attended by VMRO-DPMNE so far there was no proposal to resolve the name issue,” reads the statement of the ruling party.
