After today’s meeting with US Congressman Eliot Angel and US Ambassador Jess Bailey, DPA leader Menduh Thaci stated that the name dispute is part of the negotiations of the leading quartet attended by Bailey and EU Ambassador Aivo Orav, reports “Telma“.
Thaci gave no further details, but said part of the package on the table is the name dispute, and claimed that his impression after Kodzias’ visit to Skopje is that Greece’s positions are no longer as radical on the name issue.
Thaci says that it is too early to discuss the possibility of a referendum on the name along with elections in April next year.
