Field checks start today of 89,383 questionable voters, announced the State Election Commission (SEC). They say that a number of 374 interviewers will start making visits to the addresses where voters are registered and will help citizens fill out a questionnaire. The questionnaires are printed in the names of the voters, and the interviewers should only take data from the names of those printed.
The interviewers should at least visit disputed voters twice, if they cannot find them they shall give them written notice that within three days they should report to a regional office of the SEC.
Despite interviews being passive observers, party officials shall also. Checks should be completed in a week.
SEC chairman Alexander Chichakovski yesterday visited the regional office of the SEC in the Municipality of the Center to check on the preparations, and is convinced that all legal requirements will be fulfilled.
“The Training of interviewers is now finished, we expect today that documents will be distributed to all offices, so we can begin with field checks”, said Chichakovski.
