The building of the gas pipeline network is underway and is expected all magisterial gas pipelines to be completed during 2020 stressed the Minister of Transport and Communications Goran Sugareski and the Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi during today’s visit at a location where the magisterial gas pipeline Skopje – Tetovo – Gostivar is built.
The gas pipeline Skopje – Tetovo – Gostivar is of a length of 86 km and the value of the investment is 29 million euros. An accompanying part of the of gas pipeline are 6 block stations and mainly regulatory stations for Tetovo and Gostivar.
We have around 90% realization for this year with the last investment i.e. we have invested over 1 billion and 300 million denars. Next year we are starting with new projects. We are continuing the building of the gas network from Gostivar to Kichevo and we are starting with the building of a pipeline from Veles to Sveti Nikole for which the financing negotiations are already underway, said Sugareski.
The Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi said that the distribution network will be built through a public – private partnership for which the government has already formed a commission.
