Yesterday, the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office submitted proposals to the Basic Court Skopje 1, for two of the suspects in the “Tenders” case. The SPO have requested that their passports be confiscated and every Tuesday, at 10:00am, they report to an authorized official, before the court, stated the prosecution.
The confiscation of the suspect’s passports is necessary as the prosecution has reason to believe that the individuals in question, may attempt to leave the country.
“Yesterday, concerning the investigation into the “Tenders” case, the Basic Court Skopje 1 received proposals for imposing precautionary measures for two of the suspects in the case. The proposals require the suspects to appear once a week – every Tuesday, at 10:00am, before an authorized official at the Basic Court Skopje 1. In addition, the court was asked that they confiscate the passports of the two suspects as part of the precautionary measures, as there is reason to believe that the two people in question are flight risks”, said the statement from the SPO.
