State Audit Office: In the period between 2016 and 2019, the Special Prosecutor’s Office has illegally paid over 46.000 EUR for salary additions

In the period between January 2016 and September 2019, the Special Prosecutor’s Office has paid its employees other additions to their salaries in the amount of 282.896.000 MKD or 46.338 EUR, outside of the legal regulations. The amount for the paid additions is surpassing the amount of the salary basis per person, writes the State Audit Office in the report “Salaries and additions to salaries at the Public Prosecution for pursuing crimes related or arisen from the content of the illegal wiretapping of communications.”

The audit report states that the salary additions for 2015, that are planned for the Public Prosecutor and the public prosecutors in this Prosecutor’s Office, surpass paid amount for salary basis per person” states issued the press release.
