Today’s protests came to a peaceful end where the public are still demanding the resignation of President Gjorge Ivanov and the withdrawal of his decision to pardon politicians under investigation.
The final destination of protesters organized by the association “I protest” again was the the government, but tonight they did not throw paint, they only chanted “Nikola, you can not escape prison”,, “Mafia in prison”, “Resign”, “You will answer for this” …
Some protesters drew a star on the pavement, where he wrote “We are the colorful star of the EU.”
Traditionally, citizens begin their protest before the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office and after showing their support for her work, they went to the new building of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services and the Agency for Youth and Sports.
At this building they threw paint bombs and coloured the building in the colours of what protesters are now calling the “Colourful Revolution”, which symbolically indicates that “Macedonia is being painted with freedom and democracy.”
In recent days, protesters threw paint and Government facilities, such as the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Culture, the offices of the City of Skopje, the government and the Triumphal Arch “Macedonia”.
