“Civil”: The pressures over citizens keep on mounting with more than170 reported cases

During the period between the 5th and the 8th of December, the organization “Civil” received more than 600 calls from citizens that were worried whether they will have the opportunity to cast their vote at the early parliamentary elections set for Sunday the 11th of December, as was announced by the organization.

Today at 13.00 h, “Civil” is going to be holding a press conference in front of the State Election Commission’s offices after which, the organization’s representatives will submit a portfolio with more than 60 well documented and detailed cases.

-The pressures over voters keep mounting and “Civil” has come up with more than 100 reports from all corners of Macedonia, starting from the second week of the pre-election campaign. In total, there are more than 170 cases with pressures, threats, misuses and other categories of irregularities that were reported to ‘Civil” during the period starting from 21st of November until the 8th of December, not counting the reports that referred to the problems with the voter’s list – as was said in the organization’s press release.
