The NGO’s Platform for the combating of corruption has publicly called upon the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC), or as it is better known in Macedonia as the (DKSK), to respect the law on which it was formed, that being its basic duty and care to protect all that it is in the public interest.
There has been a strong reaction to the statement given by Goran Milenkov, President of the SCPC last Wednesday, at which he did not permit journalists present a full inspection of the questionnaire from the former Prime Minister and current head of the VMRO-DPMNE, Nikola Gruevski.
The Platform has urged all its members to publish their questionnaire’s, noting that under Article 50 of the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, that each member of the SCPC is obliged to submit the survey and form regarding any changes in the owning of property or any other assets for publication.
