Andonov sat in the Minister’s chair in the MOI, took a few pictures and then resigned

The Minister of Interior, Oliver Andonov, who took office yesterday, today, submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev.

During his short tenure of only a few hours, he managed to take a few pictures in the ministers’ office for the MOI’s official website.

Andonov came to office after the previous minister, Mitko Chavkov resigned yesterday and the government will appoint Chavkov as the next Director of the Public Security Bureau.

Last night in Parliament, with 65 votes “for” and none “against”, Andonov was selected as the new Minister of Interior. During the vote, MPs from the opposition were not present in the hall.

Earlier, Prime Minster Emil Dimitiriev explained to MPs that the person in question is someone who has worked in the Army of the Republic of Macedonia and the Ministry of Interior and is dedicated to the field of security.
