DUI’s MP group has filed almost 5.000 amendments for the draft changes in the Election Code, because it considers that the process of one way, changing of the rules of game before the election processes start would be a dangerous precedent that this Parliament will have to face with as well as the political scene in our country, said today this party’s MP Artan Grubi.
– We think that these rules of play for all political parties must be voted consensual in accordance with all political parties – said Grubi at today’s press conference.
He also said that DUI prefers to have talks about changes in the Election Code, informing that Justice Minister Deskoska has called for a meeting tomorrow for all parliamentary and non-parliamentary parties including representatives of the civic society and other institutions, where the best possible Election model and Election Code will be looked for.
According to Grubi, dangerous precedents with party calculations shouldn’t be made for the next election because it will open Pandora’s box without knowing the consequences.
