Zaev: Today the electoral law will be finalised

-

Negotiations on the electoral law will come to a finish today, and from tomorrow the matter of  the state of media and changes in MRTV will be an open question, said the SDSM leader Zoran Zaev after a debate in Ohrid called “Vision for Macedonia”.

“On the agenda are MRTV, MIA, and the Agency for Audio and Visual Media Services. MRTV as a public service is very important because we all pay the license fee and must make it an independent media in every aspect, human and financial. The same policies apply to MIA and the Agency for Audio and Visual Services. We have to set solid foundations as a base to anyone who uses the air as a right, including every citizen of Macedonia. The aim for the media is to make it independent, as much as we can, and to stop we politicians interfering in the editorial policy”, said Zoran Zaev.

The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia held a public tribunal yesterday in Ohrid, and presented the first pillar of the “Vision for Macedonia – Overall power and control over the Government.”

The project or platform if you like, “Vision for Macedonia,” announced yesterday by the SDSM, should grow into a political program, which will be incorporate ideas from citizens, this way they will contribute to a better future of the country.
