It doesn’t depend on SEC and the Administrative court whether someone will form a government but they are important for the truth and facts. The citizens with the majority of votes, of over 600.000 votes, voted for changes. The changes will happen and they are unstoppable regardless whether VMRO-DPMNE’s leadership has difficulties accepting that. Changes are healthy for every state including Macedonia. I call for a dignified and soberly behavior. I call for patience and restraint. I call for responsibility towards the state and the citizens. Freedom is coming for all citizens, for all who voted or changes and for all who were blackmailed and oppressed by Gruevski. Macedonia will go forward. There shall be life for everyone, “wrote Zaev.
Meanwhile, SDSM reacted on VMRO-DPMNE’s leader, Nikola Gruevski’s speech in front of SEC, where he read the party’s announcement.
“No one and nothing will get in the way of the democratic processes and the freedom in Macedonia. The citizens recognized the manipulations and that is why they are calm, realizing their victory. Starting from this evening even Nikola Gruevski has faced with the reality. It is over with Gruevski in politics. VMRO-DPMNE is now moving into opposition. Macedonia needs responsible politicians and a government that will work in the interest of the citizens. That sort of a government Macedonia will receive” as was by SDSM.
The party also states that the institutions in Macedonia will have to work in the service of the citizens.
“The isolation is over. The perspectives of a united Republic of Macedonia and its citizens are opening up” said representative of SDSM.
