We will give the materials to DUI, we are doing everything to complete the process of collecting signatures so that we can enter negotiations to form a government, said SDSM leader Zoran Zaev after the meeting with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.
Zaev said that DUI’s leader, Ali Ahmeti, so far, personally, had not requested any written document, but if he decided to request it, he will receive it.
“A word is a word, whether if it was spoken or it was in a writing. But, I would like to remind everyone that when he negotiated with VMRO-DPMNE, he didn’t request anything from Gruevski in writing”, said Zaev.
The SDSM leader, after the meeting with Hahn, said that the EU Commissioner’s opinion is that a government should be formed quickly. Zaev said that he is ready to talk with all the Albanian parties and that he has a positive attitude towards their platform.
The final decision, he said, will be announced after he receives the mandate for forming the government.
DUI leader, Ali Ahmeti, after meeting with Hahn, announced that they are waiting for written materials from SDSM in order to call a meeting of the central presidency and decide future steps of the party.
