The deadline for companies and public institutions to notify the State Archives of Macedonia on the manner they would register documents expires today. The state institutions, public institutions and services, municipalities and the City of Skopje, public enterprises, legal and private persons exercising public powers, as well as private and legal freelancers, also have this obligation.
– Today we received more than 500 applications, but we had more crowds on Friday. The deadline for applications was 30th of November, but because the 30th was Sunday, we pushed the deadline for today. The institutions are registered here and we didn’t have a particular crowd as there was in the district unit Taftalidze, where the private companies are registered. But, if they come here to submit documents as private companies, we will accept their application – said representatives of the State Archives of the Republic of Macedonia.
They also added that they still cannot say how many companies have met the deadline and if all who have the obligation to submit documents to the archive will do so until the end of the day. The materials can be brought to the archives or sent electronically and by mail.
Companies that won’t meet the deadline will be fined. The fines would be from 1,000 to 2,000 euros per company and from 500 to 1,000 euros per person in charge of the company.
