Belgian facilitator Peter Vanhoutte welcomed today’s agreement for the experts in the SEC.
“I am very pleased to inform you that the leaders of the political parties have reached an agreement on the SEC. I hope that very soon we will start working to elect a Secretary General. I can say that all parties were constructive”, said Mr Vanhoutte.
The facilitator also pointed out that until the elections many things still need to be done.
“There are many things that need to be settled before the elections, such as the Media Law, Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, the Ombudsman, the Anti-Corruption Commission and others. All this should be done before the elections in April”, said Peter Vanhoutte.
