The Ministry of Health informs that in the past 24 hours, 1.542 tests were conducted, and 142 new COVID-19 cases were registered in North Macedonia. Today, the Public health Institute registered 98 recovered patients, and 5 persons have died from the following cities: Gostivar (aged 69), Prilep (aged 84), Ohrid (aged 84), Makedonski Brod (aged 46,) and a patient from Shtip (aged 58).
The total number of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in North Macedonia since the start of the epidemic is 15.555, the number of recovered patients is 12.994. The death toll is 642, and at the moment, the number of active cases is 1.919.
In the past 24 hours, 7 patients were received at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases. A total number of 86 patients are being hospitalized. 39 patients are using oxygen support and there aren’t any patients using mechanical ventilation.
At the hospital in Kozle, there are 4 children and 4 mothers who are hospitalized with COVID-19, and also a mother and a child who are suspected to be infected with the virus.
3 patients were received at the “8th of September” hospital in Skopje, and a total of 31 patients were hospitalized there. 4 patients were put to ventilators in this hospital.
At the hospital in Bitola, 11 persons were hospitalized, and at the hospital in Shtip, 55 patients were hospitalized. At the infectious departments in Tetovo, Ohrid, Veles, Kumanovo, Prilep, Gostivar, Strumica, and Struga, there are 136 persons hospitalized, both people who are positive to COVID-19 or a suspected to be infected with the virus.
