This morning, Chavkov, Mukoski, and actor Vlado Jovanovski were taken into custody

Early this morning, Mitko Chavkov, former director of the Public Security Bureau at the Ministry of Interior, was taken into custody after the Public Prosecution issued a warrant, “Meta” learned from sources within the investigation.

His detainment is within the framework of the investigation into the violence that occurred on April 27th, this year, in Parliament. At the time, Mr Chavkov was the director of the Public Security Bureau and was also the manager for the “For a United Macedonia” protests within the Ministry of Interior.

Along with Mitko Chavkov, according to incomplete information, another fifteen people were also taken into custody, among them are MPs and citizens who were in Parliament on April 27th. Some of those people are, according to unofficial information, actor Vlado Jovanovski, Goran Angelov -Koseto from Veles, MP Žaklina Peshevska, MP Krsto Mukoski, the former director of the Health Insurance Fund (FZOM), Sašo Stefanovski, MP Ljuben Arnaudov from Ohrid and others.
