Whether the Basic Public Prosecutor for Organized Crime and Corruption will submit the documentation for the ‘Sopot” case to Katica Janeva will depend on the Council of Public Prosecutors. The Prosecution has confirmed for “Meta” that they received the SPP’s request, but they referred to the Council of Public Prosecutors and had asked the Council to say whether the case should be given to the Special Public Prosecutor.
Representatives of BPP for Organized Crime said that they informed SPP.
The Special Public Prosecutor announced today that on the 4th of November they have requested the documentation of the “Sopot” case from BPP For Organized Crime and Corruption in order to decide whether this case is under its jurisdiction taking into account that an information came from “a publicly revealed conversation from the illegally wiretapped communications referring to the case.”
