-

On the 4th of November, the Special Public prosecutor had requested from the Basic public prosecutor for organized crime and corruption to be submitted the documentation for the case titled “Sopot,” as was announced today by SPP.

“The case was requested in order to decide whether it can be taken under the jurisdiction of the special public prosecutor, taking into account  the publicly revealed conversation of the illegally wiretapped communications,” as was stated in the announcement issued by Janeva’s cabinet.

Otherwise, it’s about a process concerning a setting off an explosive device because of which in 2003 two NATO soldiers got killed including one Macedonian citizen. As a result, 11 Albanians were convicted.

In one of the wiretapped conversations that were revealed by the opposition party i.e.the “25th bomb,” the former Minster for interior affairs and the former Former Director of the Administration of Security and Counterintelligence, Gordana Jankulovska and Saso Mijalkov, are talking about the case “Sopot” and the verdict that should be given to the accused.
