SPO: Kosta Krpač was not the reason why we requested amendments to the Law on Witness Protection

Kosta Krpač was not the reason why the Special Prosecutor’s Office requested amendments to the Law on Witness protection, they needed it so they could propose and request protection for various witnesses said the SPO to “Meta”.

The Special Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday last week, announced that Kosta Krpač, a day after he was found dead in his apartment with a gunshot wound to the chest, was one of their witnesses in one of their investigations.

According to the SPO, he volunteered to be a witness, and cooperation between the two was ‘impeccable’.
