Sweden won the Eurovision, Macedonian points invalid

-

With the song “Heroes”, Måns Zelmerlöw from Sweden is the winner of the 60th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, with 365 points won. Second place went to Russia, followed by Italy.

Although Macedonia didn’t go through to the final, it had the right to vote, but its points were invalid.

Namely, our country, as well as Montenegro, counted only the telephone votes and not the votes of the jury, which should participate with 50%, according to the rules of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Austria.

Because the rule 50% (televoting) – 50% (jury) was not abided, points are invalid, but it does not affect the final result.
