The State Election Committee (SEC) last night rejected all seven lists by the People’s Movement for Macedonia, and this decision was voted by all nine members.
The reason for rejection of all the lists are the determined major irregularities in all of the seven candidate lists i.e. there was a mismatch of signatures by the proposed candidates and a change of candidates without asking for a prior approval from SEC. At the fourth election district Janko Bachev’s party proposed 21 candidates instead of 20.
In the seventh electorate, instead of three, there were four proposed candidates, and one of the candidates did not submit documents to prove his citizenship nor an ID or a drivers license. The candidate wasn’t evidenced in the voter’s list.
