The process for selecting experts to the State Election Commission has become blocked. Names are not just the problem, but the parties all have a different interpretation of what the Przhino Agreement means, say sources at the negotiating process to “Meta”.
According to our information, the SDSM finds it unacceptable that experts should be selected with a party blessing. Sources from SDSM said that 40 applicants for experts in the SEC, are the finest experts with quality personnel, but VMRO-DPMNE say that these fine experts are not eligible according to the European Union criteria.
Our sources say that VMRO-DPMNE only find candidates acceptable if they were members of a polling station and the party did not want to see the experience of the candidates, but who said what on their “Facebook” profiles.
According to them, the criteria for the experts for the members of the Election Commission, is that they should have been observers at home, and abroad, in a position with an international organisation and to have had experience in the electoral process.
