Serbia rejected the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs request to remove the sign set on section of Corridor 10 which states “FYROM” instead of the constitutional name of Macedonia.
Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, said that the board will stay as it is and that he sees no reason for Macedonia’s reaction.
On the highway Vladicin Han the sign is labelled “E75 highway – Corridor 10 – Belgrade – border with FYROM.” The sign is placed on the section of highway under construction linking Serbia and Macedonia.
Serbia has recognized Macedonia under its constitutional name.
