Poposka: LGBTI people are orphans in their own country

-

Member of Parliament Liljana Popovska of DOM commented today that the Legislative commission of the Assembly is losing its credibility. Popovska said that all of her arguments for amending the Law for prevention and protection of discriminatory practices have been turned down by the Commission.

-By doing this you allow LGBTI people to be treated like orphans in their own country and not to be equally protected and treated as all other citizens. Now is the moment to correct the antidiscrimination law before the EU report on Macedonia. The law has a gray hole that all of the international institutions are pointing at- said Poposka.
