The Office of the Public Prosecutor released a reaction to the allegations that it is regarding in a biased manner the “bombs” that the opposition had been releasing in the past few months, or that it doesn’t regard their appearance at all. The announcement informs about the course of the investigation and that they are “taking all necessary actions to establish the existence of instances where the law had been broken and to locate whether there is the possibility of launching criminal charges.”
The Prosecutor’s office claims that the prosecutors who are carrying out the investigation are doing it in an unbiased and professional manner and expertise.”
The announcement, for the most part, informs about the people who have been called to give statements, who hasn’t responded to the summons and where have materials, statements and documents been demanded from. However, the announcement doesn’t provide conclusive remarks, allegations and conclusive facts as to whether the “bombs” have revealed any criminal wrongdoing.
As it was previously reported by the Public Prosecutor’s office, the “bombs” have been divided in 23 different cases which were then handed out to 23 different prosecutors.
In the meantime, the Agreement in Przhino includes the investigation to the findings that are based from the tapped telephone conversations to be led by a special public prosecutor who should be selected and who should start his work on September 15.
