Prestigious American newspaper “New York Times” listed Macedonia in the top 10 of the 52 destinations that are must-see in 2015.
Macedonia is listed as a new hit destination on the Balkans.
“After Croatia and Montenegro, Macedonia is the next tourist destination in the Western Balkans. Known for old monasteries and Ohrid Lake, Macedonia is a great place for all lovers of food and wine. Places such as Shar Planina give it an alpine image, which is a great attraction for lovers of mountaineering”, reports “New York Times”.
At the list of 53 places before Macedonia are Milan (Italy), Cuba, Philadelphia, Yellowstone National Park, Chile, Singapore, Durban (South Africa), Bolivia and the Faroe Islands.
