Primary and secondary schools will be able to apply for the third Fund of Innovations and Technological Development “Challenge for Young Explorers”, a call which will be closed on the 16th of March.
The projects which will be accepted are from the area of natural and technical sciences that would be accomplished in a period of 6 months. The total budget for this year’s challenge is 6 million denars or a sum ranging from 100.000 to 300.000 denars for projects that will be supported.
The teachers – mentors that will be leading the teams will receive 30.000 denars while the students will receive certificates.
Key criteria for the projects will be original ideas, quality, the projects applicability and multi-implementation.
With its previous 2 challenges for young explorers, FITR has supported 54 schools.
