Former Prosecutor Katica Janeva who is the third suspect in the racket case, even though she was questioned by OJO she gave no testimony about this case, since she requested to have an insight into the evidence.
“She will use the right to see the evidence and that she will give a statement at OJO for Organized Crime and Corruption. The prime suspect will have a hearing tomorrow and we shall be allowed to have an insight tomorrow. We were notified that tomorrow we shall receive a notification that the investigation procedure has ended. We think that the prosecutor is obliged to question Janeva first, and then to close the investigation” said Janeva’s attorney, Irena Frchkoska.
Janeva’s detention has been extended for another month and her defense, which includes attorney Iljo Kadiev, thinks that with the ending of the investigation there is an opportunity for a guarantee to be offered for her to come out of detention.
