Ivanov explained to ambassadors his motives for his decision on the pardons

President Gjorge Ivanov met with the ambassadors of member states of the European Union in Macedonia, stated the president’s office.

At the meeting, Ivanov introduced the ambassadors to his motives and purpose, and explained why he came to the decision he did on the pardons and immunity from prosecution, and all aspects of the decision were explained.

The Ambassadors presented their own positions and concerns of the countries they represent about the decision and the political crisis.

At the meeting also discussed was the migrant situation and security crisis, and the challenges that arise from them.

They were not immediately reveal details of the talks, which have just taken place a few days before the leaders’ meeting in Vienna, which aims to rescue the Przhino Agreement.

The meeting in Vienna will be attended by EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, MEPs Ivo Vajgl, Eduard Kukan and Richard Howitt, and Ambassadors the US and the EU to Macedonia, Jess Baily and Aivo Orav.
