The number of people infected with the new coronavirus in North Macedonia surpassed 12 000. From the first case that was registered about five months ago, up to date, the number of deceased people is 530.

However, in the last few weeks, the daily graph of the number of patients who recovered is very good, as day by day the number of recoveries is at least a couple hundred.

The expectations in March were that the number of infected people in the peak of the epidemic in North Macedonia in April and May will reach no more than 2 000 cases.

Later on, the forecasts said that in August the number of new cases will decrease and that we will have from 5 to 10 new cases daily and that until the end of the year the number of deceased patients would climb to about 1,000.

But in reality, the dynamics of the rise of the new cases and deaths from COVID-19 is much higher.
