This is the tenth election victory in a row for VMRO-DPMNE, and the tenth time in a row the majority of citizens in Macedonia voted and supported the VMRO-DPMNE party and our program, our vision, our team and the way we work, said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE Nikola Gruevski tonight from the party’s headquarters.
“I thank those citizens who have shown support for VMRO-DPMNE, which according to the results we received 88.61% of the vote and support with 434,051 votes for VMRO-DPMNE against SDSM’s 415,258 votes and therefore VMRO-DPMNE won these elections in the Macedonia. Today, the Republic of Macedonia won. I am pleased that we have won in the fourth constituency by a margin of 7476 votes. In these elections, we had a tough opponent because it was not just SDSM. These elections have a special weight, a special importance, especially when you look back on the past two years and everything we have gone through. It is visible that the number of votes for VMRO-DPMNE is within the constant support we have had in the past, and there were more surprises in the Albanian block. SDSM received significant support from the Albanian electorate, but we will conduct analyzes in the upcoming period”, said Gruevski.
VMRO-DPMNE emphasized that there will be a process of forming coalitions and a formation of government, and that the crisis must end and Macedonia must move on. He added that VMRO-DPMNE will always be with the people and will always have the interests of the state and the people can count on their support.
