Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski will address the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York and later, meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. One of the key topics of the meeting with the UN Secretary General is expected, will be the name dispute with Greece.

Gruevski a few days earlier, within the reception hosted by US President Barack Obama, had an informal meeting with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, where they discussed the name dispute.

Speaking at the General Assembly of the United Nations, the Greek Prime Minister said that Greece is working to resolve all outstanding issues with the countries of the Western Balkans, pointing out the effort to overcome the name dispute with Macedonia
