Yesterday, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) confirmed the expressed intention to seek asylum were granted to a total of 2,473 migrants, most of which, or 1,382, are Syrian nationals.
According to the MOI, the entry into force of amendments to the Law on Asylum and Temporary Protection (June 19) so far, such documents have been issued to a total of 111,361 migrants who transited through the territory of the country.
The Department for Asylum in the last 24 hours was not submitted any application for actual asylum. Since the beginning of issuing the certificates, so far, a total of 50 foreign nationals applied for asylum.
