The annulment of the pardons has to be comprehensive, or to be more precise, the pardons have to be completely withdrawn, said the German Ambassador to Macedonia Christine Althauser during the promotion of “Football without Borders” together with the French Ambassador to Macedonia Laurence Auer.
“Regarding President Gjorgi Ivanov’s decision to withdraw part of the pardons, I have said from the beginning, without doubts, we have appealed for a full and complete withdrawal of the pardons from April the 12th”, stated Althauser.
The Ambassador of Germany and other international officials for some time now have been urging political leaders in Macedonia to work on resolving the crisis, giving them the example of football – where all players want their teams to win.
