The MOI has increased security around the French Embassy. The Interior Ministry has confirmed this information for “Telma” television but can not disclose any more details due to security reasons.
The embassy requested additional security measures, and the ministry responded adequately their requests. This is the only embassy until now, which has requested any security after verbal attacks intensified and morbid photo obituaries appeared on the social network “Imgur.”
“Telma” reported that today they tried to find out which Macedonian ambassadors were called by the home countries of the ambassadors where they were required to give an explanation concerning the safety of their own representatives in Macedonia, however they did not receive a response from the Macedonian Foreign Ministry.
Officially no one from the Interior Ministry has requested an investigation into the publication of the images.
