-

February 9 is the date set for the trial of  “Divo Naselje” to begin at the Basic Court Skopje 1.

At today’s public session to review the indictment on the events in Kumanovo on May 9 and 10 last year, all of the 29 accused of terrorism in the “Divo naselje” pleaded not guilty to the crimes they have been charged with.

Lawyers for the defendants submitted complaint and emphasized that jurisdiction for this case should be taken over by the Special Public Prosecutor, with all documentation to be delivered to Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, because, in the defence lawyers opinions, their client’s cases stem from the illegal interception of communications.
