The Special Public Prosecution today announced that the Basic Court Skopje 1 decided to freeze the accounts of the company “Finzi”.
“Yesterday, the judge of the preliminary procedure in the Basic Court Skopje 1 decided to stop financial transactions of the accounts of the legal person DTU at “Finzi” LTD. This decision was adopted in regards to our request for the prohibition of the use and disposal of the transaction account of the legal person in the “Vault” case. To clarify, our request was strictly in accordance with the suggestions of the judge from the preliminary procedure in the Basic Court Skopje 1, which we expressed willingness to deepen out professional cooperation with the court”, said the SPO.
Last week, Prosecutors presented the “Vault” case, in which suspects are three heads of the Security and Counterintelligence Agency and one person from the Ministry of Interior.
As prosecutor Fatime Fetai said, the investigative procedure showed that the fourth suspect helped the first three suspects to enable the company “Finzi,” which was managed by the late Kosta Krpač, to benefit from the scheme in the value of 862,045 euros.
