IRI poll: VMRO – 26, SDSM – 10 percent confidence

If elections are held today, 26 percent of citizens would vote for VMRO-DPMNE, while 10 percent for SDSM, according to a public opinion poll conducted by the Institute IRI, reports “Pres24”. 11 percent would vote for DUI, while 5 percent of the population would vote for DPA.

Among the leaders of the political parties, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski has the confidence of 18 percent of respondents, against SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, who has the confidence of 3 percent of people.

The question of who would have done better with corruption, VMRO-DPMNE received 29 percent, while SDSM only 6 percent. The policy of the VMRO-DPMNE on the name dispute is approved by 28 percent, versus that of SDSM, in which only 11 percent believe.

28 percent of citizens responded that VMRO-DPMNE leads good policy toward NATO and the EU, against SDSM – 12 percent of the population. 29 percent versus 9 is the advantage of VMRO-DPMNE when it comes to ensuring the rule of law, and in the area of security, the advantage of the VMRO-DPMNE is 33 versus 10 percent for SDSM.
