Activists build fence surrounding Government

Today, the Government found themselves surrounded by a cardboard fence which had been put up beside the iron fences. A group of citizens and activists from non-governmental organizations believe that this way they will disassociate themselves from the crime and abuse from current government officials.

A graffiti on the cardboard fence read, “And we distance ourselves from you”.  Activists cut the red tape which had been put up by the government as an ironic act because of the frequent campaign activities of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

“We are gathered here today to remind this government that we remember their crimes these last nine years. Let us recall that they hold their own people hostage in their own country before letting them defend themselves We want to send a message to the public prosecutor that should be elected on Tuesday of his obligations. We want to remind them of their place, the people who today lead our country, who ruthlessly trample on the rights of its citizens and we want to remember the young lives that were victims of this regime, to not loose sight of the fact that evidence we have should not be neglected. No justice, no peace”, said activist Simona Spirovska.
